Ty Crwn Ty Crwn - The Round House - is a self-build project, creating an eco-friendly home for a family of four. It is unusual both in its shape and in the materials used in its construction. Equally unusual is the fact that hot water and under-floor heating are provided by a heat pump with many metres of underground pipes. The owners chose WebBrick® Systems for home automation, as it delivered all of the benefits they required at an affordable price. The system monitors and controls internal and external lighting, it manages temperatures around the home and it takes care of ventilation. It also handles some of the security around the building and provides audio entertainment in five different rooms. The project attracted press coverage from The Times newspaper and Build It magazine.
