Bromley House Bromley House is a large, detached home that was completed in October 2006. It has a WebBrick® Systems installation managing all of the lighting plus curtains and blinds. The owners are now planning to expand the system to monitor and automate more aspects of their home. Home automation was not specified until the build was well underway. However the electrician (an experienced home automation installer) recognised that WebBrick® Systems have the flexibility to work with traditional wiring schemes, where there is no structured cabling or network 'star-points'. Lights and drapery are controlled by a series of WebBrick Controllers™. Buttons throughout the house provide control - with single and double pushes providing different functions - including predefined lighting scenes, such as 'cooking' or 'relaxing'. Scheduling is provided by the WebBrick Gateway™, which oversees all of the WebBricks Controllers™ and can be controlled through any combination of buttons, touch screens and even remote control over the Internet.
